Probate and Trust Administration. The term "probate" refers to a legal proceeding required by Illinois law, where the court is involved with the orderly valuation and transfer of assets according to a will in situations where a person does not have a will. We can assist with a range of situations that involve probate, from the simple filing of a will and preparation of a small estate affidavit where an individual has a living trust, to more complicated situations where a person has only a will or no will at all. In addition, in situations where a trustee is required to administer a trust agreement after the person who created the trust dies, we can also provide guidance and recommendations concerning management and termination of the trust, depending on the circumstances.
Please feel free to call or e-mail us if we can be of assistance.
